Exterior work is nearing completion on Linden Lane, a seven-story residential building at 349 West 51st Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. Designed by Architecture Outfit and developed by Cadence Property Group, HOH Capital Partners, and Deal Lake Capital, the 66-foot-tall structure will span 55,000 square feet and yield 32 condominium units in one- to three-bedroom layouts marketed by Brown Harris Stevens Development Marketing. The project is located on an interior lot between Eighth and Ninth Avenues with a narrow panhandle section stretching south to West 51st Street.
The red brick façade has enclosed nearly the entire building since our last update in early August, when the reinforced concrete superstructure had recently topped out and stood completely exposed. The windows have yet to be installed within the protruding metal frames on the upper levels of the main northern elevation, and the opposite rear face remains covered in wooden and metal scaffolding. The ground level is almost done and will feature 92 feet of frontage. Interiors are likely well underway at this point.
The below image shows the state of work on the rear southern elevation from West 51st Street, where Linden Lane’s main entrance will be located.
Among the condominium units will be duplex one-bedrooms, garden triplexes, and penthouses with private roof terraces. The majority of homes include private outdoor space.
Renderings by VMI Studio show some of the residential amenities at Linden Lane including the private landscaped courtyard designed by LaGuardia Design Group, a yoga studio, coworking spaces, and a rooftop deck.
The developers are completing the project with the help of a $41.5 million financial package arranged by JLL Capital Markets in the summer of 2023. Financing was secured through Benefit Street Partners, and HKS Real Estate Advisors represented Cadence in negotiating and closing the additional acquisition of 360 West 52nd Street.
The nearest subways from the development are the local C and E trains at the 50th Street station along Eighth Avenue.
Linden Lane’s anticipated completion date is slated for later this year.
